Revolution Pro New Neutral Shadow Palette Review

BOOM! Another day has passed and another Revolution palette has launched - and of course, I'm going to have a play with it and review it.

The Revolution Pro New Neutral shadow palette retails for £12 and you can get it directly from Revolution's site here. Alternatively, it's available to buy in Superdrug, Beauty Bay and ULTA too as well as a few other stores that they're slowly branching out too as a brand. The palette is part of their 'New Neutral' collection which consists of 6 lipsticks which I've tried one of 'Stiletto' and is lovely - definitely worth exfoliating your lips beforehand though as it is very matte and shows up any dead skin you may have on your lips. Last but not least; the New Neutral palette which I'm reviewing today and a pressed powder which I've yet to try.

Packaging wise, it's housed in a golden leopard print box with matching packaging for the actual eyeshadow palette which I actually really think is cute, it might not be to everyone's taste but I actually really like it. The palette comes with a good quality mirror and the shade names are underneath the shadows which I'm always a massive fan of, as I don't like to keep referring to the plastic sheet that comes in the palette. It's full of some gorgeous warm shades so instantly this palette is definitely a bit of me and I was so excited to play with it.

It comes with mattes, reflective, pearl and glitter pigments - the glitters do look stunning in the pan and when you swatch them on your finger. Although I will say they are quite difficult to work with and definitely take some patience to create your desired look, I've never been a massive fan of pressed glitters as they're so messy - I'd much rather go old school with glitter glue/lash glue etc and applying loose glitter, so it was a bit of a shame the pressed glitters didn't perform the best. The matte shades are lovely are really easy to blend and the shimmers are gorgeous! I've actually used this palette in two videos now so check out the second one here

What I love about the palette (even though this is essentially a dupe of the Huda Beauty The New Nude palette) is that it comes with a cream concealer type base for cutting the crease which is a genius concept, however - some of the other shadows may go into this causing it to be messy so you do have to be conscious of that.

Overall, I think this palette is definitely worth picking up - just bear in mind you may need a little bit of patience with the glitter pigments, but for a quick glam look the other shimmers are gorgeous! You can buy the Revolution Pro New Neutral shadow palette here.

Will you be adding this palette to your collection?

Thanks for reading and until next time,
Much love, Shiv xoxo
