Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette Review & Deep Chocolate Brown Smokey Eyes

Deep chocolate brown, dreamy smokey eyes is definitely one of my go to looks when I want to feel and look glam. As you may already know, I have an unhealthy obsession with purple eye shadow as I feel like it suits the majority of skin tones and eye colours - and really makes my green eyes pop
This Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette is a new toy and a love of mine that I excitedly picked up at Debenhams (haul, vlog, post) a few weeks or so ago, I just wanted to dive straight in and have a play with all the gorgeous shades.

First things first (i'm the realest) let's state the obvious and the main thing that drew me to this beauty. It smells like chocolate! It's packaging also looks like chocolate as well as the gorgeous chocolate brown shades inside... dreamy. What I really adore about this palette is how they've thrown a few darker, dramatic colours in there too rather than bog standard neutral shades which just don't excite me all that much - so you can really go to town or you can use it as an every day palette.

Pricing wise I feel like £39 is a good price for this standard of palette and how many shades you get - also considering the two highlight shades are larger too so inevitably will last you longer. The packaging is nice and sturdy and has a magnetic closure - although I feel like it needs to be a bit of stronger shut as I am stupidly clumsy.

The shadows themselves are completely on point - a nice mixture of mattes and shimmers/glitters to create an encyclopaedia of eye make-up looks. The matte shades really impressed me as they are perfect for transition shades in the crease or just as base work/every day make-up but are amazingly pigmented for matte shadows. My favourite shades from the palette have to be; 'Salted Caramel', 'Candid Violet' and 'Cherry Cordial' - just to narrow it down to the power of three; I would pick all of them otherwise!

This palette is a complete winner for me, definitely one to add to your wish list as I think it should last you a fair bit of time and the amount of variating make-up looks you can create from this one palette alone is phenomenal. Go get it.

As always I really hope you enjoyed the tutorial and the review helped you out if you're interested in the palette. I loved wearing this make-up, it's super glam but actually quite an easy one to re-create.

Too Glam To Give A Damn.

Thank you for reading and until next time...
