New Anastasia Beverly Hills Collection Launch Review; ABH x Amrezy Highlighter & Soft Glam Palette

Hi, I'm back blog! I haven't done any beauty blogging since forever so I'm so excited to be back, and why not just jump straight into it with a post all about the exciting new launch from Anastasia Beverly Hills?

The collection consists of liquid lipsticks, bronzers, a highlighter in collaboration with Instagram superwoman Amrezy and a new eyeshadow palette; Soft Glam. I saved up in advance to purchase the Soft Glam palette and the Amrezy highlighter as I absolutely needed them looking at the sneak peeks on Norvina's instagram and snapchat.

The Soft Glam palette is very similar in my opinion to the cult favourite Modern Renaissance palette also from ABH, with warm tones and gorgeous shimmers this is absolutely lush on first impressions for a 'neutral palette'. Straight off the bat, I really enjoy that the palette includes a newer red tone which I've not tried before called 'Mulberry' and a black as the Modern Renaissance could've really done with a sneaky cheeky black even though it's my fave palette ever.

Featuring fourteen essential shades, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette is the perfect collection of easy-to-blend, full pigment shadows. With a long lasting formula, this palette is complete with bronze metallics and iridescent finishes ideal for a nighttime look and neutral mattes for daytime.

The palette consists of 9 'ultra matte' shades and 5 shimmers/metallics/iridescent shades to complete a  stunning eye makeup look. When I pressed the submit order button on the ABH website, I was super excited to get a new palette to play with but also a bit nervous due to the backlash from the Subculture palette which I've also done a video review on here if you want to check that out. The backlash stemmed from a lot of 'kickback' from the shadows and fallout, which essentially means a messy palette and face, I also noticed some complaints about certain shadows being hard to blend and patchy.

When trying this palette, I noticed quite a lot of 'kickback' with shades like 'burnt orange' & 'sienna' however, this honestly doesn't bother me due to how pigmented these shadows are, I'm very used to ABH shadows and always do my eyes first so can clean up any fall out before moving onto the face so this isn't an issue for me.

The shadows themselves are absolutely stunning and I really think that anyone could get use of this palette - it would be perfect for brides, a girls night out or an added palette in any makeup lovers collection so I really love this!

The limited edition Amrezy Highlighter is an illuminating powder that achieves the perfect glow. With the feel of second-skin, this ultra-smooth formula delivers a radiant finish and reflects a light, brilliant gold.

"I live for the perfect glow-it's a constant focus in my makeup routine. I'm always looking for the most luminous glow with a natural, second skin finish. This collaboration with ABH brings my highlighter dreams to life, and I'm so happy to share this "sun in a compact" with my Rezy riders."- Amrezy

It's absolutely beautiful isn't it? I'm not even going to beat around the bush here, I have no faults at all about this highlighter apart from the fact it's limited edition, it's so stunning! You can see my reaction in my video review here (live at 6pm 25th Feb 2018). It feels so light on the skin yet gives such a blinding popping finish and would look lush on anyone, I loved this in the inner corners of my eyes and definitely think the £29 price tag is worth it - pick this up now if you love a highlighter!
